I couldn't resist- I knew Mickey would be NUTS about it(because he L O V E S penguins)-

The giant hug I got from him made the purchase well worth it.
And now he is outside with his new friend the giant metal peacock.
I wonder who will join them next year?!?
Got him here: www.patinawhite.com (at her Christmas show)- click on Show & Tell to look at her house, ect.- it's gorgeous!

Fancy Nancy Tea Party

The day after Thanksgiving my mom, Mary Beth and I went to the library for a tea party!
A Fancy Nancy Tea Party to be exact. Look at this spread!

rasberries in the pink punch!
frill picks in the tiny finger sandwiches! and REAL tea! It doesn't get much fancier than that.
Mary Beth went right for the pink frosted cookies of course- her favorite!

She was so happy that her Nonna was there to share it with her.
my camara was casting a dark shadow on things in a few pictures?!? my face was one of them.
there were craft projects...

and games...
they all made a fancy purse, ate all the sweets they wanted, dressed up in their finest fancy clothes, and listened to 3 stories about fancy girls and tea parties... perfect morning!
afterwards we went out to lunch and did some shopping downtown- fun, fun, fun!

Happy Birthday My Baby Boy!

Today our little Feffers turned 8! We spent the morning looking at pictures of him when he was a tiny baby. :) Mickey said we would should do that on each of their birthdays- I agreed. John made him green eggs and ham for breakfast, Jeffrey chose McDonald's for lunch(a HUGE treat for them since we haven't taken them there in almost a year!). My sister Amy came with us to eat before she headed home to Wisconsin.

This picture was from Friday evening when we celebrated his birthday with my parents. I accidentally put 9 candles on the cake!?! I told everyone I did it on purpose-
1 extra for good luck! :) Whoops!
After McDonald's Jeffrey opened his presents from us. He was so excited he could hardly wait.

Buzz jammies, a Toy Story 3 book, movie, and wall clock. And a Star Wars Lego set with the money he got from his great-grandparents and his aunt, uncle, and cousins(the Websters). Thank you guys!
He loved everything- especially "RC"- the toy car from Toy Story which his brother and sister gave him. They all ran upstairs immediately to play Toy Story with their guys.

He requested we just "stay home" the rest of the day and he ordered garlic butter angel hair pasta and green beans and garlic toast for his birthday supper. We had leftover watermelon cake from Friday night for his birthday cake and now I'm making cupcakes for him to bring to his class tomorrow. When I kissed him goodnight he said he had a great birthday. :) I'm glad.

Mickey built him a birthday Lego pyramid...

fall fairies

a couple weeks ago on a day off of school we made "fall fairies."
jeffrey wanted to make some too- but boy fairies of course!
they were so easy to make that mary beth barely needed any help.

mickey didn't want to make a fairy- he made some aliens or something out of pipe cleaners. :)

ta-da!
obviously I haven't done a great job of posting again. but my preschool job is done next week and hopefully i can play catch up around here after that. i want to post about the pumpkin patch and a bunch of other october activities we did but i want to do it in chronological order(for memory keeping sake) so i think i will post them under their original dates. which just means that you will have to keep scrolling back to look at all the pics.
