Haircut {Mary Beth}

She had mixed emotions about this but in the end she agreed her hair felt much better.
Besides, it will all grow back in a couple weeks anyway! :)

Happy Earth Day!

The kids put together a rainforest puzzle today in honor of Earth Day. :)

Look at this pumpkin plant Mickey is growing!!
He planted it at the last Kid Quest.

This book:  The Practical Naturalist is so great- if you have a nature-lover in your family I highly reccommend it!

Baby Joanne has arrived!

My new little niece arrived yesterday!  My sister Sarah named her after our mom- isn't that sweet?

Joanne's big sister Julia looks pretty excited to have a new baby sister!

Jade was so great during the delivery- he kept texting all of us to keep us up to speed.  And sent pictures immediately.  Thank you Jade!  And congratulations to Sarah, Jade, and Julia- you have a beautiful family!!

Princess Tea Party {Fargo Public Library}

Today the library hosted a Princess Tea Party and Mary Beth met her BFF Emma there.  Good thing we had a "real" princess costume from Halloween!  They made a crown, a want and had some treats, listened to a story and sang a song, and then went on a princess parade through the library.  It was so cute and the girls had a great time.  I love how many fun, free activities there are for families in Fargo!

Passport Day!

I know everyone says this but my passport pictures are without a doubt the worst things I've ever set my eyes on- I look like someone walked up and dumped a bucket of water on me...
or that I'm about to kill someone.  John's were fine(of course).

One step closer to seeing our little one!

The Shrine Circus {2013}

It was that time of year again...

Our sweet friend managed to get us 5 free tickets to the Shrine Circus- and thank goodness because otherwise it would have been out of our budget this year.  Another bonus was that the kids still had their light-up toys from last year so they brought those along with some special candy they had been saving for this day and ta-da!  A completely free visit to the circus!

This was a "baby" Siberian Tiger.

Rainbow ponies!

Honestly, I don't really like this circus that much... and I feel bad for the animals.  But the kids and John love it so I go along and try and be a good sport about it! :)
We had a wonderful time and thank you again Colleen for the tickets!!  You saved the day!
